Welcome. My firm, Kristin V. Rehder & Associates, specializes in fundraising and campaign communications. I founded KVRA in 1999, and we are now located in Saratoga Springs, New York.

I have been working with educational clients for over 30 years in fund-raising communications. At present, my work is focused on a limited number of campaign engagements and specific development writing and messaging projects.

Kristin Rehder

Background

Before establishing Kristin V. Rehder & Associates, Kristin was director of development communications and a major gifts officer at Amherst College, with a portfolio of prospects at the $100,000 to $1 million level. She also led the teams that raised support for the new life sciences building, financial aid, scholarships, athletics, and information technology.

Kristin's combined experience as a major gifts fundraiser and as a writer for over 30 years in education (she has also worked on staff at Williams and Brown) makes her especially qualified to develop communications that are highly successful in their fundraising impact.

Kristin has presented frequently for the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and other organizations and is the recipient of the CASE Steuben Apple Award for outstanding teaching. A native of Wilmington, North Carolina, she is a 1974 graduate of Randolph-Macon Woman's College (now Randolph College) with honors in English literature.
